About the course
This double degree combines sport science and sport management to build expertise in human movement, exercise supervision, recreation programming and managing sport organisations. You’ll learn through strong industry engagement, supported by extensive partnerships across sport venues, clubs, government and community health and education. Graduates are prepared for diverse roles across fitness, sport and active recreation in a 4-year bachelor programme in sports science. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue work across sport science and management settings, including exercise and sport science support, rehabilitation and community health and fitness programs. Career directions also include personal training, community sport development, planning for sport and active recreation, and consulting or research into sport participation. The degree also supports roles managing events, facilities, aquatic and recreation centres and sport organisations as a bachelor-level sports qualification.
