About the course
This combined Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Sciences and Master of Public Health develops expertise in sport and exercise science alongside population health. You’ll learn to apply theory to design and deliver exercise-based interventions that support fitness, performance, and health and wellbeing, while building foundations in public health practice. The 4-year on-campus pathway integrates undergraduate and postgraduate study in sports science and public health. The programme develops advanced clinical reasoning, health leadership, and evidence-based practice for complex care environments.

Graduates can pursue roles across sport, exercise and public health settings, applying evidence-based exercise interventions and prevention strategies to improve health outcomes. Career pathways may include exercise and sport science support roles, health promotion and community wellbeing programs, public health project or policy support, and roles in sporting organisations, government, health services, and research teams.
