About the course
This degree develops a broad understanding of sport and exercise science and the factors that influence human movement and performance. You’ll study key scientific principles and apply them to sport, exercise and health contexts through on-campus learning. The course is delivered by the Faculty of Health and is designed to build a strong foundation for evidence-based practice in sport and exercise settings at bachelor level in sports science. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles applying sport and exercise science knowledge across community, health and performance environments. Career paths may include work in sport performance support, strength and conditioning environments, exercise and wellbeing programs, fitness and sport development, and roles in sport organisations or related health industries. This bachelor qualification supports entry-level careers in the sport and exercise science field.
