About the course

QUT’s Bachelor of Social Work prepares you to work with individuals, families, groups and communities to promote social justice and wellbeing. You’ll learn from experienced practitioners and connect theory with real-world practice through substantial professional placements. The course emphasises culturally safe practice, self-reflection and working effectively with vulnerable people and communities in contemporary settings. This is an undergraduate qualification in social work.
