About the course

This ECU dual degree combines Nursing and Midwifery and is unique in Western Australia. It prepares you for entry-level practice as both a registered nurse and a registered midwife, broadening your options across hospital, community and maternity services. You’ll build professional capability through accredited study designed for contemporary healthcare settings in a Bachelor-level nursing and midwifery program. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue roles as a registered nurse and a registered midwife, supporting people across acute care, community health and maternity services.
