About the course
This vertical double degree combines a Bachelor of Science with a Master of Data Science in as little as four years. You’ll build core science and statistics knowledge, deepen expertise in a chosen science major, and develop advanced capability in processing, analysing and visualising complex datasets. Learning is hands-on, supported by industry-informed teaching and opportunities to engage with research projects on campus. This is an integrated bachelor-to-master pathway in data science.
Career outcome
Graduates can apply scientific thinking and advanced data science to solve complex, real-world problems and make evidence-based decisions. Career paths may include data scientist, data analyst, analytics consultant, research assistant, and roles applying analytics in sectors such as health, education, media and communications, information technology, engineering, agriculture and mining. The integrated bachelor and master structure supports progression into advanced analytics roles across science-driven industries.
