Deakin’s Bachelor of Science (Honours) is a one-year specialist programme that extends prior science study through a substantial research project and supporting coursework. You’ll build advanced capability in experimental design, quantitative analysis, critical thinking, data analysis, digital literacy and scientific communication, with guidance from active researchers. The honours year in Sciences also prepares you for research training pathways such as masters or PhD study.
