About the course
Study coastal, marine and ocean systems and the physical processes that shape them, while exploring how coasts and oceans are used as resources and managed through policy and planning. You’ll build practical skills through project work and field exercises and can broaden expertise by combining this study area with related disciplines. This is an undergraduate Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Environmental Science. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates can pursue roles in coastal and marine management, modelling and planning across government and research settings. Typical jobs include coastal and estuary officer, coastal ocean modeller, coastal programs officer, marine planning project officer and oceanographic officer.
