About the course
This Bachelor of Science (Environmental Health) focuses on how environmental and built conditions affect human health. You’ll study issues such as air and water quality, waste management, food safety, environmental regulation, risk assessment and healthy communities, with opportunities for hands-on learning in dedicated labs. The course also offers industry placement options and flexibility through electives or minors, building practical capability in environmental health practice at bachelor level.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles focused on protecting community health through environmental management and regulation. Career pathways include Environmental Health Officer (accredited, where applicable), public health officer, water quality officer, environmental protection officer, food safety practitioner/auditor, and environmental (health) consultant.
