About the course

This Earth Science major within QUT’s Bachelor of Science focuses on understanding Earth systems through hands-on fieldwork, laboratory analysis and modelling. You’ll study how Earth processes shape landscapes and resources, and investigate environmental change to help address challenges affecting the planet’s health. Field trips and industry-relevant learning are a key feature of this bachelor-level science program. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.

Graduates can work in roles linked to exploring, assessing and managing Earth resources and environmental risks.
