About the course
This combined degree is designed for high-achieving students who want to study science alongside an extended, research-focused law program. You’ll build scientific skills in investigating and modelling the natural world while completing a practical legal education that supports eligibility for admission as an Australian lawyer. Learning includes case-based classes, authentic assessment, and opportunities such as work-integrated learning, clinical placement and exchange within a Bachelor-level honours pathway in Law and Science.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue pathways in legal practice and law-related roles, supported by a strong grounding in scientific thinking and evidence-based analysis. Career directions may include practising as a lawyer (after required practical legal training), roles in government and regulatory settings, policy and compliance, and science-informed legal work across environment, health, technology or industry contexts. This prepares students for professional careers through a Bachelor-level honours qualification combining Law and Science.
