About the course
This double degree combines science with engineering to broaden your technical expertise and improve employability. You’ll study both degrees concurrently, developing strong foundations in scientific inquiry alongside engineering design and problem-solving, with access to modern labs and specialist engineering facilities. The program is designed to build practical, project-based skills while allowing you to tailor study through majors across both disciplines at bachelor/honours level in science and engineering.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that blend scientific knowledge with engineering practice across industry and government. Depending on your chosen majors, opportunities may include civil, mechanical, mechatronic, electrical/electronic or software engineering pathways, as well as technical consultancy and design-focused roles. The combined qualification supports careers in infrastructure, technology and product development, environmental and sustainability-focused projects, and applied research contexts as a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) graduate.
