About the course

Public Health at UWA examines patterns of health and disease in society and how evidence-based medicine and medical research can be applied to populations. You’ll explore approaches to preventing and managing infectious and non-infectious diseases and promoting healthier lifestyles at a community level. This is an undergraduate course focused on population health and improving public wellbeing in Health Sciences. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
