About the course
Study why people think, feel and behave the way they do, while building a strong scientific foundation in contemporary psychology. You’ll explore cognitive, social, physiological, intercultural, Indigenous and abnormal psychology, alongside ethics and professional practice. In your final year, complete an advanced research project and strengthen high-level research and statistical skills in this Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across community and health settings where psychological knowledge is valued, including child protection, corrections, and non-government community organisations. Career pathways also extend to public and private health services, hospitals and clinics, and private practice settings. The program is APAC-accredited and provides a recognised four-year pathway toward further postgraduate study and psychologist registration in Australia via the Bachelor of Psychology (Honours).
