About the course
This Bachelor of Psychology explores how the mind works and why people behave the way they do. You’ll study areas such as perception, cognition, emotion, personality, behaviour and relationships, and learn how psychologists examine, explain and predict behaviour in individuals and groups. The course notes inherent requirements and can be physically and mentally challenging. This is an undergraduate psychology degree at Curtin. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles that value psychological insight across people-focused and analytical fields, including human resources consulting, market research and social/community services. Employment may be found in industries such as healthcare, education, government, community and not-for-profit, and sport and recreation. To become a registered psychologist in Australia, graduates need a further two years of accredited training beyond this bachelor-level psychology degree.
