About the course
Study psychology as a science, exploring human behaviour and the biological and psychological principles that shape it. You’ll build transferable skills in critical thinking, communication and problem solving, with study available on campus or online across multiple Tasmanian locations. The course can also be combined as part of a double degree, providing a broad undergraduate foundation in Psychology. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
This degree builds a foundation for roles that use psychological knowledge and strong analytical and communication skills across community, education, health and business settings. It can support pathways toward further study needed for careers such as research scientist, counsellor or registered psychologist, and is useful preparation for people-focused work where understanding behaviour and evidence-based decision-making matter in Psychology.
