About the course
Charles Sturt University’s Bachelor of Policing (Investigations) is designed for serving police and law-enforcement officers seeking to build specialist investigative capability. Delivered fully online, it strengthens contemporary practice in evidence, ethics and accountability, intelligence and investigation management, and emerging areas such as organised crime and terrorism. The degree is structured to complement in‑service investigation training as a bachelor-level qualification in policing investigations.

The course develops skills for conducting and managing investigations, working with evidence, and applying ethical and legal decision-making in complex cases, including contemporary crime types. Typical pathways include progressing in investigative streams within police services or moving into investigator positions across justice and regulatory environments as a bachelor-level policing investigations qualification.
