About the course

This teaching major builds strong discipline knowledge in the physical sciences and how to teach it effectively in secondary schools. You’ll study key concepts in physics and chemistry alongside learning how adolescents learn, classroom engagement strategies, and inclusive approaches for diverse student needs. The major is combined with a required second teaching area in Mathematics and includes practical learning experiences and placements. This is an undergraduate Education & Teaching major.
