About the course
The Bachelor of Pharmacy with Honours prepares you to become a medication expert working as part of collaborative healthcare teams. You’ll build strong foundations in pharmacy science and practice with substantial hands-on learning, supported by close industry links. The course includes at least 400 hours of professional experience placement and offers study across multiple periods to help you complete the degree in three years. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates may work in community or hospital pharmacy and other public or private healthcare settings across metropolitan and regional areas. Career pathways can extend into research, vaccinations, medication reviews, industry and professional liaison roles, and medication advisory work in government or non-government organisations. After completing a paid internship, you can apply to register as a pharmacist in Australia.
