About the course
You will undertake a guided advanced studies program in an aspect of out-of-hospital clinical care and an approved research project under the supervision of a member of the academic or research staff. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared for advanced and research-informed practice within paramedicine and related emergency and out-of-hospital care settings. The honours research project supports pathways into evidence-based clinical leadership roles, service improvement, and further postgraduate study or research training. Career directions may include roles across ambulance services, community emergency care, and health research support. This is a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Health Sciences.
