About the course
This APAC-accredited Bachelor of Psychological Science builds foundational knowledge of human thought, behaviour and emotion across areas such as developmental, cognitive, social and abnormal psychology. You’ll develop communication, research, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with electives across all three years. The degree can also provide a pathway to fourth-year honours and further postgraduate study in psychology. The programme explores human behaviour, research methods, and applied psychology for community and organisational settings.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue diverse roles where understanding people and behaviour is valuable, including community welfare, case management and family or youth support services. Opportunities may also exist in business and industry, criminal justice settings, marketing and social research, program coordination and health education. With further accredited fourth-year and postgraduate training, the course can support progression toward psychologist registration.
