Oral Health Therapy

About the course

The Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy develops scientific knowledge and practical clinical skills to support population-based oral health care. You’ll gain dual preparation in dental hygiene and dental therapy, with strong emphasis on prevention and an expanded restorative scope. Learning includes simulation and hands-on training in an on-campus oral health clinic plus clinical placements across rural and urban NSW. This is an undergraduate Dentistry qualification. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
