About the course

This four-year program will prepare you to work as both a registered nurse and midwife in settings including public health, rural and community hospitals, and specialist services that provide medical or surgical care to mothers and babies. Benefit from two innovative programs that were developed in consultation with healthcare professionals. Take a narrative and patient/woman-focused approach to learning, integrating practice across diverse and complex healthcare environments.

What you might learn

As part of this course, you will undertake core and elective subjects such as clinical decision-making, cultural competence, research and clinical practice. Graduates of this course should be able to find employment within the industry or have built a solid foundation towards obtaining a Masters degree.
