About the course

UniSQ’s Bachelor of Laws is an accredited undergraduate law degree that builds the legal knowledge and practical skills needed for admission as a lawyer in Queensland and supports pathways across Australia. You’ll develop legal reasoning, research and ethical decision-making skills, with options to fast-track study and choose electives in areas of interest. You can study on campus or online and practise advocacy through simulated court experiences in the LLB program. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue legal and related roles across private practice, government and corporate settings. The degree develops analytical, communication and problem-solving capabilities valued beyond the legal profession, supporting work in policy and advisory roles as well as traditional practice. Typical pathways include barrister, solicitor, public prosecutor, community lawyer, legal officer and in-house counsel. This Bachelor-level law qualification supports entry to professional training toward legal practice.
