About the course

ACU’s Bachelor of Laws prepares you to become a confident, ethical lawyer with strong legal knowledge and practical skills. You’ll apply learning through pro bono experience during your degree and can access international opportunities. The program is designed as a professional pathway into legal practice, with an option to apply for an honours year based on academic performance. This is an undergraduate law degree. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue careers across the legal profession and related sectors. Outcomes include roles in legal practice, government administration, regulation and compliance, and work in media, politics and policy. The course also supports pathways into NGOs (domestic and international), academia and diplomacy, and can underpin emerging opportunities where law intersects with the digital environment. This is a Bachelor-level qualification in Law. Preparing graduates for legal practice, paralegal, compliance, and public sector legal support roles.
