About the course
The Diploma of Information Technology provides a supported first-year pathway into computing study at Charles Darwin University. It builds foundational IT knowledge while developing academic English and communication skills, with increased staff contact and support to bridge linguistic and cultural gaps for new students. Delivered through CDU International College (UP Education), it is designed to align with CDU graduate attributes and prepare you for further undergraduate study in computing.

Completing the Diploma of Information Technology provides a pathway to continue into the second year of CDU undergraduate computing degrees. Graduates can transition into the Bachelor of Information Technology or Bachelor of Computer Science, positioning them for future roles across IT and computing fields such as software and systems development, IT support, networks and related technology areas.
