About the course

This course builds understanding of Indigenous world views through the study of histories, knowledge systems, determinants of health and wellbeing, and ways of living. You develop theoretical and practical capability in cultural protocols and Indigenous ways of knowing and being, with an emphasis on engaging respectfully with communities. The degree supports culturally diverse learning and can be focused through an Indigenous Knowledge major or shared majors across the University.

Graduates are equipped for professional entry roles in Arts & Humanities and further postgraduate study. Graduates enter industry graduate roles or continue to postgraduate study. Preparing graduates for graduate employment, professional traineeships, and further postgraduate study.
