About the course

This degree combines technical cyber security with the human and behavioural side of online threats. You’ll build skills in programming, ethical hacking, cyber risk management frameworks, usable security and privacy by design. The course emphasises hands-on learning with industry input and culminates in substantial real-world experience through placements and an industry-led project. This is an undergraduate cyber security programme with a strong practical focus. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.

Graduates can pursue cyber security and risk roles across government, business and community organisations. Career paths may include cyber safety officer, data security analyst, security analyst, risk analyst, cyber policing and cyber intelligence.
