About the course

This one-year Diploma of Business is a pathway program designed to build academic and core business skills for further university study. Delivered through SCU College with embedded learning support and online resources, it prepares students for success in higher education. Successful completion guarantees entry and provides up to eight units of credit towards Southern Cross University’s Bachelor of Business. The programme introduces business operations, customer service, and administrative leadership for commercial workplaces.

Graduates develop foundational business knowledge and practical skills suited to entry-level roles across a range of industries. The course supports progression into further study while also preparing you for work in administrative and junior management contexts, assisting in areas such as office operations, basic accounting support, customer service and general business coordination in business and commerce settings.
