About the course
This Bachelor of Nursing pathway is designed for enrolled nurses to transition to registered nurse practice in two years full-time (or part-time equivalent). It builds on prior nursing qualifications through conversion units and studies in professional nursing, biological sciences and social sciences. Students complete work integrated learning placements and train using modern simulation facilities, with possible intensive workshops at selected campuses. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates are prepared to progress from enrolled nurse roles to registered nurse practice across a range of healthcare settings. The course supports development of contemporary clinical skills, professional judgement and patient-centred care through supervised placements and simulation-based learning. Career opportunities commonly include RN positions in hospitals, community health services, aged care and other clinical environments as a Bachelor-level nursing qualification.
