About the course
Deakin’s Bachelor of Nursing prepares you for registration as a registered nurse through extensive hands-on learning, including simulation-based training and supervised clinical placements from first trimester. You’ll build ethical, evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making skills while providing patient-centred care across metropolitan, regional and rural health settings, supported by Deakin’s clinical partnerships and purpose-built simulation centres. This is a Bachelor-level nursing degree.

Graduates are prepared to seek registration and work as registered nurses in a wide range of healthcare contexts.
