About the course
The Bachelor of Music is a four-year undergraduate degree designed to develop you as a broadly educated musician. You’ll build core capabilities in performance and ensemble practice, music theory and aural skills, and studies in music analysis, history and culture. The course also supports elective study and the option to undertake a specialist project or honours in the final year within the performing arts discipline. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.

Graduates can pursue creative and professional roles across the music and arts industries, supported by strong practical and analytical training. Career directions may include performing, composing or producing, music roles in film and television, work in media and technology-based music sectors, and arts administration or community music settings. The final-year project or honours pathway can also support progression to further study in performing arts.
