About the course
Music Studies at UWA gives you the chance to innovate, create and broaden your musical knowledge through pathways such as performance, composition and musicology. You’ll develop your artistic practice while building critical listening and analytical skills, and can tailor your studies to your interests within music and the wider creative industries. This is an undergraduate music programme focused on Performing Arts. The programme develops design, animation, visual storytelling, and digital media production for creative industries.
Career outcome
This course supports diverse creative careers and further study in music. Graduates may work across the creative and performing arts and broader entertainment sector, with opportunities related to live performance, composing and arranging, music research and criticism, arts administration, and music education pathways with further training. This is an undergraduate qualification preparing you for Performing Arts careers. Preparing graduates for graphic design, multimedia production, advertising, and creative studio roles.
