About the course
The Bachelor of Music provides advanced training across a variety of musical disciplines through an immersive and practical curriculum that includes music core studies, music electives and complementary breadth subjects. Students can major in areas including Musicology & Ethnomusicology, developing both practical and academic capabilities through performance and scholarly activities. The Musicology & Ethnomusicology major focuses on studying music across diverse historical, geographical and cultural contexts and includes a capstone subject.

Students build skills and understanding of the practical, theoretical and conceptual aspects of music while broadening knowledge across styles and repertoire. The course aims to develop advanced critical thinking and creative problem-solving through regular practical activities and theoretical studies.
