This five-year, direct-entry Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery prepares you for medical practice through integrated study of biomedical and clinical sciences alongside real-world healthcare learning. You’ll develop skills in hospitals, primary care and aged care settings, with a strong focus on Indigenous health, population health and professional development. The program emphasises leadership and patient-centred care in undergraduate medicine. The programme develops clinical skills, patient care fundamentals, and health sciences knowledge for registered practice pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers as medical practitioners across a range of healthcare settings and may also move into medical research roles. Employment pathways include general practice, community and rural health services, aged care, mental health, pathology and research organisations.
