About the course

The Marketing major develops your understanding of how organisations position products and services, influence consumer choice and build competitive advantage. You’ll explore the mix of business, behavioural science and creativity that underpins effective marketing, with opportunities to tailor your interests across many industries. This is an undergraduate major studied within a Curtin bachelor degree in business-related disciplines. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.

Career outcome

Marketing skills are used across all sectors, giving graduates flexibility to work in varied industries and organisational settings. Typical roles include marketing strategist or consultant, brand manager, content marketer, digital marketing manager and product marketing manager.
