About the course
This major explores how people, cultures, and natural and built environments interact to shape places. You’ll examine social and environmental justice and how resources can be used efficiently, equitably and sustainably. The major introduces diverse ways of understanding the world across natural sciences, social sciences and humanities, while building communication, computing and analytical skills within an undergraduate geography and environmental studies discipline. The programme develops laboratory techniques, scientific writing, and analytical methods for research and industry settings.
Career outcome
Studying Geography and Environmental Studies develops analytical, fieldwork and problem-solving skills suited to roles needing strong communication, data management and synthesis of complex information.
