About the course
This Film and Television Studies major explores film, television and screen media across streaming, social media, games and emerging digital platforms. You’ll build analytical and critical viewing skills while studying screen histories, aesthetics and theories. The major also examines how media industries operate and how screen culture shapes social and cultural life, as part of an undergraduate arts degree. The programme develops media literacy, content creation, and professional communication skills for digital and corporate environments.

Graduates may pursue roles across film, television and broader creative industries, including distribution and exhibition, criticism and reviewing, curation and programming, and policy or administration.
