About the course
This stand-alone honours year extends the Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Science with advanced study through a supervised research program in your chosen arts or science discipline. You’ll work closely with academic supervisors to design and complete an independent project, and may undertake supporting coursework such as experimental design or technical training. It is a one-year, face-to-face Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Sciences. The programme combines disciplinary knowledge, applied learning, and graduate competencies for professional career entry.
Career outcome
Graduates build research, analysis and academic writing skills suited to roles requiring evidence-based problem solving. Depending on the chosen discipline, outcomes may include research assistant or analyst positions in labs, government or industry, and a stronger pathway to postgraduate study.
