About the course
This six-year double degree combines advanced legal studies with in-depth psychology training, exploring how law and human behaviour intersect. You’ll build strong legal knowledge and analytical skills while developing understanding of motivation, relationships, communication and cognition. Honours study in both disciplines prepares you for pathways where legal practice, psychology and mental health overlap within a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Law. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers that draw on both legal and psychological expertise, including legal practice and roles in policy, advocacy and justice-related services where understanding behaviour is valuable. The combined honours focus also supports pathways into psychology- or mental-health-aligned work settings and further study options. This prepares you for interdisciplinary opportunities with a Bachelor Degree / Honours Degree in Law. Preparing graduates for legal practice, paralegal, compliance, and public sector legal support roles.
