About the course
The Bachelor of Laws (Graduate Entry) is an undergraduate law degree designed for graduates who want to gain a professional legal qualification. You’ll build practical legal skills alongside specialised legal knowledge, with a focus on advocacy, ethics and social justice. Study on campus at UOW and prepare for a wide range of legal and policy careers in Australia through a Bachelor-level qualification in Law. The programme builds legal reasoning, case analysis, and professional ethics for legal practice and public service pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers across legal practice, government, business and community organisations. Typical pathways include working as a solicitor in private practice or a community legal centre, as well as roles in prosecution, criminal defence, commercial and in-house legal advisory, policy and research. The degree can also support pathways toward the bar and judicial-related roles as a Bachelor-level qualification in Law.
