About the course
This double degree combines law with environmental and conservation science to build the scientific and legal knowledge needed to protect ecosystems and shape environmental decision-making. You’ll learn from specialists in conservation and climate-related research, develop practical legal skills through mooting and clinical legal education, and gain hands-on fieldwork experience in Murdoch’s conservation wetlands and woodlands and on field trips. This is an undergraduate pathway in law and environmental science.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles spanning legal practice and environmental science, including solicitor or barrister pathways, legal advisor or analyst roles, and policy and advisory positions across federal, state or local government. Science-focused options include environmental scientist, conservation biologist and marine ecologist, as well as sustainability and nonprofit policy roles. This double degree supports undergraduate careers at the intersection of law and environmental science. Preparing graduates for legal practice, paralegal, compliance, and public sector legal support roles.
