About the course
This double degree combines legal training with innovation and commercialisation knowledge, building an entrepreneurial mindset alongside the core skills needed for legal practice in Australia. You’ll develop commercial awareness, explore how law intersects with emerging areas such as technology, intellectual property and digital finance, and apply innovation strategies through practical experiences like projects, tours, hackathons or internships. It is an undergraduate program in Law and Innovation.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue legal practice pathways as a solicitor or barrister, or work in legal roles within organisations as in-house counsel. The innovation component supports careers advising startups and new ventures, including innovation analyst, startup advisor, consultant or product strategy manager. Opportunities span law, technology and innovation, business and finance, design, and government or non-profit sectors. It is a bachelor-level pathway in Law and Innovation. Preparing graduates for legal practice, paralegal, compliance, and public sector legal support roles.
