About the course
This five-year double degree combines accredited legal training with in-demand information technology skills. You’ll learn to practise law in complex technology contexts, with hands-on opportunities through clinical legal learning and mooting, alongside project-based IT work for real clients. Study areas span legal systems and ethics, plus software design, programming, analysis, research and technology, preparing you to work where law and digital innovation intersect at bachelor level in Law and IT.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers that combine legal expertise with technology capability across government, consulting, corporate and tech sectors. Roles may include lawyer, legal analyst, IT specialist, cyber security analyst, data analyst, business/systems analyst, software architect, information systems manager or AI specialist. The combined qualification supports professional pathways in both legal practice and technology-focused organisations at bachelor level in Law and IT.
