About the course
This dual degree combines accredited law study with environmental management to help you address environmental issues through legal and scientific perspectives. You’ll complete the academic requirements for admission as a legal practitioner in Australia while building practical skills from first year. Alongside this, you’ll explore human impacts on the environment with a focus on tropical and subtropical systems. This is an undergraduate program in Law and Environmental Management.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue careers across legal practice and environmental management, applying legal and policy knowledge to sustainability challenges. Pathways include solicitor or barrister roles, judge’s associate positions, and in-house counsel for industry, conservation or research organisations. Opportunities also extend to government roles, policy and legislation development, international negotiations, natural resource management, and ecosystem conservation and restoration. This is a Bachelor-level pathway in Law with environmental specialisation.
