About the course
This specialised double degree combines legal training with a Commerce focus in Accounting to prepare you for careers at the intersection of law, business and finance. You’ll study core law areas required for admission in Australia alongside accounting, taxation, auditing and financial management, while strengthening communication, analytical thinking and problem-solving. This is an undergraduate Bachelor-level program in Law and Commerce. The programme introduces accounting standards, taxation basics, and financial reporting for professional accreditation pathways.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across legal practice and commercial environments, including solicitor or barrister pathways (with additional practical legal training), as well as accounting and corporate roles. Career options may include accountant, auditor, company secretary, stockbroker and other positions requiring combined legal and accounting expertise in firms, corporations, government and financial services.
