About the course

This double degree combines legal training with an Arts major to broaden analytical, cultural and communication skills. The Law component meets the academic requirements to practise law in Australia and develops intellectual, critical and practical legal capabilities, with opportunities for work-integrated learning and placement. The Arts component explores human cultures, values and beliefs to build creative and transferable skills for varied sectors. This is a Bachelor-level Law and Arts programme.

Career outcome

Graduates can pursue roles that draw on both legal and arts expertise, or specialise in either area. Pathways include work in private legal practice (as a solicitor or barrister after required professional steps), government departments, non-government agencies and legal organisations. Arts-related opportunities may extend to media, public relations and creative industries, supported by strong writing, communication and cultural awareness developed through the degree. This is a Bachelor-level outcome in Law with Arts.
