About the course
This International Business major develops a global business perspective for working across countries, cultures and markets. You’ll build skills in management, problem-solving and planning and managing change, and gain interdisciplinary knowledge applicable to logistics, marketing, sales, procurement and finance. The major is completed as part of an eligible undergraduate degree at Curtin, supporting career pathways in international business and trade. The programme introduces business strategy, finance, marketing, and leadership foundations for commercial organisations.
Career outcome
Graduates can pursue roles across international business, trade and global operations, applying skills in strategy, ethical practice, project management, supply chain management and marketing. Typical opportunities include international business development or trade manager, importer/exporter, foreign investment analyst, foreign trade consultant, global supply chain manager, international marketing manager and international sales executive.
