About the course
This three-year Bachelor of International Business prepares you for responsible leadership in a global business environment. You study how organisations negotiate, manage conflict and operate across cultures, while building understanding of regional business contexts such as Asia, Europe or the Middle East. The program combines management and marketing perspectives with strong language study to support international careers.
What you might learn
You will build core business knowledge alongside practical capabilities for working internationally. Learning focuses on cross-cultural management, negotiation and strategic decision-making in global markets, supported by quantitative and economic foundations. You also develop region-specific insight through a chosen stream and gain substantial proficiency in a single language to communicate effectively and work with diverse stakeholders.
Career outcome
Graduates are suited to roles requiring international business capability across government, NGOs and the private sector. Typical pathways include international marketing or business development, trade and export planning, supply chain and operations, consulting, and cross-cultural HR or management roles. Entry requirements
Applicants need to meet ANU admission requirements for an undergraduate single degree. The indicative selection rank includes ATAR 80 or International Baccalaureate 30. Additional requirements may apply depending on your background, and you should check prerequisites and any available adjustment factors. Entry is through standard ANU application channels (including UAC for domestic applicants).
