This degree prepares you for professional software application development, covering the development, implementation, testing and management of modern software systems. You build core IT foundations in first year, then progress into specialised software development units and career development. A key feature is the mandatory Federation Co-op component, including 60 days of paid industry placement to help you become job-ready in the IT & Computer Science field at bachelor level. The programme builds programming, systems thinking, and data skills for technology-driven industries and startups.

Graduates can pursue roles across software development and broader IT functions, such as programmer, software engineer, software analyst, systems designer, database administrator and IT consultant.
